Dane & Joy Keely

Senior Pastor

 

Pastor Keely, originally from St. Charles, Missouri, was educated in the state's parochial schools. His spiritual journey took a pivotal turn on January 22, 1984, when at the age of twenty, he committed his life to Christ. This deep faith fueled his passion to lead others to Jesus and foster their spiritual growth.

At thirty, feeling called to ministry, Pastor Keely pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Theology at Crown College of the Bible in Knoxville, Tennessee, under Dr. Clarence Sexton, graduating in 1997. He furthered his education with a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from West Coast Baptist College in California, mentored by Dr. Paul Chappell. His career has spanned roles as associate pastor, Christian school administrator, and pastor.

In fall 2014, Pastor Keely was unanimously called to lead Bible Baptist Church, which has been a spiritual beacon in South Florida for over seventy-four years. His leadership is characterized by a deep love for his culturally diverse congregation and a commitment to the Great Commission.

Pastor Keely and his wife, Joy, married in 1985, have four daughters who are actively involved in ministry and are raising ten grandchildren in the faith.
